I’m Cláudia Quintela. I spent 14 years on FX trading floors, at State Street, UBS, Blenheim Capital and Morgan Stanley. I was usually the only woman in the room. I learned early that the best ideas don’t always get heard. Sometimes you have to position them differently.

That experience shaped everything I do now. I have spent 25+ years sitting between hedge fund managers and institutional allocators. I know how both sides think, what neither side is saying, and where the conversation breaks down. That is what makes Vibe effective.

I founded Vibe Advisors in 2017 as an independent advisory boutique focused on one thing: helping emerging hedge fund managers raise their first £50 to £200 million in institutional capital.

I take on a handful of managers a year. Every engagement is long-term. I do not run a volume business. I run a relationship business, and my reputation depends on every introduction I make.

Managed accounts are a core focus. They are increasingly the first allocation structure institutional investors prefer, and I have deep experience structuring, negotiating, and positioning SMA arrangements across multiple platforms and prime brokers.

Small managers need to be lean. Every hour spent on a task that could be automated is an hour not spent on performance, investor conversations, or building the business. I help the managers I work with build workflows using AI and productivity tools that save 20 to 30 hours a week.

I also write. Outside of Vibe, I built Midlife Mavericks, a newsletter and community that grew to thousands of subscribers from nothing. No ad spend, no inherited audience. Just writing that connects. Most people in this industry are afraid to communicate publicly. I am not.
